Ralf Rangnick, the former manager of Manchester United and RB Leipzig, has stated that his goal is to lead the German club to success in Europe.
Speaking ahead of their upcoming match against Borussia Dortmund, Rangnick said: "My goal is to win the Bundesliga title with RB Leipzig this season."
The 64-year-old also revealed that he wants to help the team qualify for the Champions League next season.
"I want to make sure we have a strong squad and we can compete for the Champions League," he added.
"Winning the Bundesliga is important,Saudi Pro League Focus but I am more interested in winning trophies and getting into the Champions League."
RB Leipzig finished second in the Bundesliga last season, just behind Bayern Munich, and they will be hoping to bounce back this season under Rangnick's guidance.
"We want to improve on what we did last season and try to get as high up the table as possible," Rangnick said.
"Our aim is to win the league and then see where it takes us from there."
